Jasmin From Germany - 2016
My name is Jasmin and I was allowed to spend a wonderful 3 months at the Ranch Koiimasis in 2016.
I can say until today that this time was one of the most beautiful times of my life, I was not only allowed to learn a lot about myself, but also a lot about these wonderful sensitive horses. No day was like the other and in every moment there was a different gift.
To the daily routine belonged mainly all work around the horses like the care and of course the trainig of the horses, which are trained all in the Western style. By the way, one of my favorite horses was Mokka, who grew very close to my heart.
On the farm itself there was a lot to do, I was involved in all the work that needed to be done, which allowed me to learn a lot. What I particularly enjoyed was driving the cattle from A to B, of course from horseback, and then it could be that I sat in the saddle for several hours.
My free time I used among other things to learn how to throw the lasso, whether I still get it, I doubt, but something like that you have to have learned and belongs to the stay definitely 😉. Directly at the farm is in the middle of the beautiful Tiras mountains, on which I have experienced some beautiful hikes.
If it was ever too hot, I got me a little refreshment in the pool from the lodge next door. I lived in a cozy furnished room in a cottage, this resembles a small castle.
The unique sundowners with a cool Savanna and card games usually rounded off the evening.
I could go on forever about what I experienced in that time, but it would go beyond the scope, but I also think you get more out of it, just try it yourself and make your own valuable experiences. I'm sure you won't regret it.
A very big thank you goes to the Farmers family, Anke, Wulff with Tommy and of course my little foster dog Flo, who made these great experiences even better. Thanks for everything and see you soon.
